How to have a happier life by getting rid of stuff will be discussed at Lifetree Café on Apr 5th at 1:00PM
The Lifetree event, titled âUpsizing Life by Downsizing Stuff: Living Large in an 84-sq-ft House,â features a filmed interview with Dee Williams, author of the best-selling book The Big Tiny.
âI live in a tiny house. Itâs 84 square feet, which is less square feet than a parking spot,â says Williams. âDownsizing allowed me to step away from a $250,000 mortgage, high utility bills, and feeling a bit lost in lifeâ
Participants will get practical tips for getting rid of stuff, and see how one woman downsized to owning less than 300 items to maximize the amount of space in her life.Â
Admission to the 60-minute event is free.Â
If you are 60 years of age or older, come at 11:45 and enjoy a free hot meal with members of the center; then stay for the program âLighten Upâ which starts at 1:00PM. Â
If you are not yet a "seasoned citizen", come at 1:00PM for the interesting conversation.
