Today is  “Greet & Eat” Sunday! 


If you are not planning to attend Bible Study or Fellowship, please leave the church after communion with your masks in place.  If staying for Fellowship, please do not linger in the kitchen area.  Please practice proper distancing in the Fellowship room.  If not enough room for sitting, please take your food into the Sanctuary. We will be studying the appointed Sunday Worship Service Lessons and Gospel during Adult Bible Class following Fellowship.  Come join us as we expand our understanding of these important lessons from God’s Word!”


Temperatures will continue to be taken and hands sanitized as you enter the church. Since the safety of our worshipers is important, we ask all worshipers at Hope to please comply with the following guidelines:

  1.   All worshipers will wear a face mask when entering the church. We ask that all worshipers to wear a face mask whenever they are standing or walking within the Hope facilities. Once seated, all worshipers are welcome to remove their face masks.. Due to the physical distancing requirement, we continue to have assigned seating. 4. The nursery is closed at this time. If it is necessary to use the nursery, a parent needs to be present.

 Hope will be having “ A Chosen Encounter with Jesus” on February 24th, March 3rd, March 10th, March 17th and March 24th at 12:00pm and 6:30pm.

Boxed meals will be available at all Lent services through March 24th.  If you have not already put in your order by way of the questionnaire, please email Chynsia at or Evan at no later than the Monday prior to the service you will be attending.  Copies of the menu for the six meals are in the Nathex.  Any Questions or adjustments please contact (904)894-7910.  Meals are $5.00 each.  You can give your money to Chynsia each Sunday.


From Pastor Pat’s Desk:

  1. “Enter His Courts With Praise” (Holy Week Worship Events to Date)
  2. “Let the Music Play” Worship Service – On Sunday, March 14th (9:15 a.m.), Robin Lahiri will be our special musician as he plays and leads familiar worship songs.  Robin is a Christian classical guitar player and singer and has been a guest before at Hope.  We look forward to his presence once again!
  3.  Special Palm Sunday Worship Service (Sunday, March 28th – 9:15 a.m.) with palms for all worshippers, along with a special children’s objlesson.

.      4.  Maundy Thursday service with the Lord’s supper and stripping of the alter with be celebrated on Thursday, April 1st at 6:30pm ONLY and Good Friday Services will be celebrated on Friday, April 2nd at 12:00pm and 6:30pm. 

5. “Festival of the Resurrection” Worship Service  On Sunday, April 4th at 9:15 a.m.. We will worship our Lord and celebrate His victory over sin, Satan, and eternal death through his magnificent resurrection from the grave! 

    6 Wewill have Special Refreshments and Fellowship time and an Easter Egg Hunt for the children following our Easter Service.

 Men’s Bible Study meets every Thursday mornings at Hope from 10:00am to 11:00am.

Celebrate Recovery is now meeting every Tuesday evening at 6:00pm for a light meal with meeting from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and every Saturday from 9:00am to 11:00am at Hope. Celebrate Recovery is a 12-Step fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope.   This group is for people with all hurts, habits and hang-ups that get in the way of experiencing Joy and Hope.

To avoid physical contact during the offering, please continue to place your offerings in the basket at the rear of the church.   Thank you to all who have stepped up to make sure your tithes and donations have been received

 Pop Tabs for the Ronald McDonald House

Did you know that it takes approximately 1,128 Pop Tabs to equal one pound.  Ronald McDonald’s house here in Jacksonville typically receives $.40-$.50 per pound.  The program brings in about $6000 a year.  Any pull tab is acceptable.  Hope’s container is on the soda cooler in the kitchen.
